Can't really call these art, but I really do love my little planets.

Beached
More Photoshop fun-ness.
Maybe I should use this technique more often? (Photo is from Brighton Beach, taken by 13yo me.)

Black, white & colour

I'm really getting the hang of Photoshop colouring now. This is a five-second job: simple... but effective. The black & white drawing started as a rough sketch for my cardboard picture.
One brown feather
Watercolour pencils on carboard
This turned out better than I anticipated. I love working on brown paper (or cardboard in this case)- it's great for bringing out the highlights.
On other news:
Recieved my second rejection email from Avant Card today. Same automated response as the first:
Thank you for sending us a selection of your artwork. We have received an overwhelming response to the project and have seen a lot of great artwork.
Unfortunately you were unsuccessful at this time. Best of luck with your art.
Ah, the joy of unreciprocated love. Maybe I should stop flooding their inbox with useless art? Or maybe I should up the ante?
Yes, I think that's a fab idea.

Avant Card III
Another Photoshop-coloured version. And yes, this is been sent off too, whether they like it or not.
Avant Card II
Original hand-coloured (top) vs Photoshop quick colour. Maybe I should have done the Photoshop one properly and submitted that one instead? Never mind.

Avant Card
These pictures have all been submitted to Avant Card's 'design a postcard' campaign, so with any luck it may one day be released around Australia. Not counting on anything though.
